Located in the heart of Mobile, the Mobile Botanical Gardens offers a rare blend of cultivated areas and nature trails. Within its 100 acres are a Rhododendron Garden, Camellia Winter Garden, Fern Glade, Japanese Maple Garden, Herb Garden, and collections of hollies, magnolias, roses, and perennials, as well as a 27-acre longleaf pine habitat.

Hours: Open year-round from dawn to dusk. Admission: No admission fee. Tours: Self-guided; guided tours are available by request. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

 

 


 WHAT'S HAPPENING?

 March 13, 2010LOOKING AHEAD TO SPRING PLANT SALE       There will be six experienced gardeners to present examples of the plants available.  Each of these garden members will use their expertise in plant materials to help you make the right decisions for your garden.  Come with plans and questions. All of the plants presented will be available at our SPRING PLANT SALE -- MARCH 26, 27 AND 28. Fee--$10 for members and $15 for non members
