March 13

LOOKING AHEAD TO SPRING PLANT SALE  There will be six experienced gardeners to present examples of the plants available. Each of these garden members will use their expertise in plant materials to help you make the right decisions for your garden. Come with plans and questions. All of the plants presented will be available at our SPRING PLANT SALE -- MARCH 26, 27 AND 28. Fee--$10 for members and $15 for non members

Plantasia! Spring Plant Sale Opening Night Plant Sale & Party,  4:00 -8:00 PM - $20 Admission  

March 26 - 28

Plantasia! Spring Plant Sale. Admission is Free.  Thousands of plants for your Gulf Coast garden. Camellias, azaleas, roses, vines, vegetables, fruits, herbs, trees, hydrangeas, natives, & more!

Friday & Saturday, 26-27, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Sunday, 28th, 11:00 AM- 4:00 PM

April 15

One Enchanted Evening: A night of botanical delights and music.  7:00 PM.  Experience the Renaissance of the Mobile Botanical Gardens!  Enjoy music, food and wine while discovering the serenity, beauty, fragrance and colors of the Gardens.  Cocktail attire.   $ 100 per person

April 18

Camellia Workshop   Mobile Botanical Gardens and The Camellia Club of South Alabama are joining to bring to you a workshop with an avid camellia grower to help trim the Wintergarden. The camellias in the wintergarden will be ready for some trimming and the camellias in your garden will benefit from your new found knowledge. Fee--$10 for members and $15 for non members  

May 2

Growing Hydrangeas  Learn the secrets of growing the best varieties from Bobby Green one of the areas premier growers. Bring your season’s best garden photos to enter in Brenda Litchfield’s photography contest. Fee--$10 for members and $15 for non members  

May 14 - 15

Gallery of Gardens:  Explore six private gardens while getting great ideas for your own garden!  Self-guided maps included with ticket. Tour at your own pace.

Friday and Saturday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. $20 advance, $25 during tour days.

Rose Garden Workshop  Later in May we will visit the rose garden of one of our members for some growing, pruning and selection advice—stay tuned for time, date and location. Think beautiful  Hybrid Teas, Floribundas and Grandifloras. Fee--$10 for members and $15 for non members  

June 21 - 25

Nature Blast: A Week Long Nature Day Camp dedicated to up coming 3rd and 4th grade students. Have fun while learning about the gardens. Hours will be from 8am-1pm.

September 18

Herb Day 2010:  Sponsored by the Mobile Botanical Gardens and the Gulf Coast Herb Society. $25. Includes light lunch and door prizes. Herbs and gifts will be for sale. Paid registrations required.

October 21 - 24

Fall Plant Sale. A great SPRING garden begins in the FALL! Thousands of plants, thousands of colors for your Gulf Coast garden. Rare plants, camellias, azaleas, roses, herbs, vines, trees, hydrangeas, natives, & more. Opening Night Plant Sale & Party, Thursday, 21, 4:00 - 8:00 PM, $25 admission Plant Sale only, no admission fee. Friday & Saturday,22-23, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Sunday, 24th, 11:00 AM- 4:00 PM

November 13

Bluegrass in the Gardens. Food, fun and great music!

December 3 - 4

Holiday Sales at the Gardens. Over 50 varieties of poinsettias, fresh greenery and decorations by the Mobile Master Gardeners. Friday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
